Category : Bolts;
Alias : Anchor Bolts, Bent Bolts;
Foundation Bolts are long threaded bolts, straight or bent in different styles, used for anchoring steel profiles and plates to concrete. Foundation bolts are coupled with hex nuts and plate washers to secure the joint. Foundation bolts are often used in bent profile such as J and L. Foundation bolts are also known as anchor bolts or bent bolts. Foundation bolt comes in many types, sizes and external coatings, depeding upon its application. Foundation bolt dimensions are defined in both metric and imperials sizes with unified national coarse pitch (UNC), fine pitch (UNF), fixed pitch (UN) and iso metric thread profile. These are produced across all material categories and astm specifications. ASTM A307, A325, A354, F1554 are most commonly supplied specification for foundation bolts.
